AT&T Expands 5G International Roaming

AT&T now offers 5G roaming in over 35 international destinations. Unlimited high-speed data service, including 5G, is included with AT&T's International Day Pass. The Day Pass runs $10/day for up to ten days, after which it's free for the remainder of the billing period. The countries where 5G roaming is now offered include Austria, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, parts of Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE, and more.

Motorola today announced the moto g stylus 5G, a version of this year's moto g stylus with 5G and a larger battery, for $400. The new 5G model has excellent support for all 5G and 4G networks in the US, (except mmWave 5G.) The battery has been bumped up from 4,000 mAh to a whopping 5,000 mAh. The 5G model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset instead the Snapdragon 678 in the 4G model. Although the 480 is a 4-series chip, it's newer than the 678 and offers similar performance. Google Optimizes Android so Apps Take Up Less Space

Google has released a new version of the Android Runtime (ART), a core component that turns app code into lower-level code that can run directly on that specific device. The update contains new optimizations that reduce the resulting code size by about 9.3%. This means most apps now take up less space in both storage and RAM. On the average Android phone, this means a savings of about 50–100 MB in storage.
